Who We Are |
Established in 2010, Khinsharri Publishing was born of a writer's idea that people all over the world had stories they would tell of themselves, their families, and of their lives, many of which pass without notice. This gave birth to the idea that the only way to preserve these is like they did in olden times of telling stories to the young so that the history and passions of those being told about lived once more. An avid Science Fiction writer and story teller, Avakhon Khinsharri, (real name Bob Cunningham) saw the need for some way to allow those he met to save those wonderful stories. Webgar Allan Poe is the result of that need being met.

Our History |
As a fan of Star Trek, and it's rich story telling history, a young man watched the years pass and found himself in various fan based groups that would write imaginative stories for the pleasure of friends and others. Not looking to necessarily profit from it, but to find others of a similar background and desire. This found him in a myriad of groups whose backgrounds were as diverse as the series he loved. Whether it was a member of a Federation Star ship group or a Klingon based fan club, writing seemed to be the most common thing among these people. Many stories of characters and scenarios imagined were told and shared, but most have been lost to time and distances, technical and emotional problems. Time marched on and the costs associated with publishing were only for those whose talents were readily recognized by large firms and editors. The small, non-professional writer stood little chance of getting anywhere.
As a Science Fiction writer, he has found himself with many others who wanted to tell their stories. NOW the technology AND the means to afford it have come together. |
